For my son Mason's 6th birthday, he wanted to have a Firetruck/Lego party. My husband is a volunteer firefighter and Mason wanted him to give firetruck rides at his party but he wanted to have a Lego party, so we combined the two. For the base of the cake I made a 12 inch round white cake. I made three 9x13 chocolate cakes. Then cut and stacked them to make Lego's. I iced the whole cake in buttercream. All the little Lego's added to the cake were made from chocolate. I added the firetruck to make it look like it was putting out the fire from the candles. However, I forgot to take a picture once the candles were put in it. Mason and all his friends loved his cake.
