I was recently asked to do a cake for a little girls First Holy Communion. They wanted 3 dozen cupcakes shaped in the shape of a cross. The little girls favorite color is purple. So I decided to do each cupcake as a purple flower. I made half of the cupcakes chocolate and the other half white. I iced each cupcake in white buttercream icing. I decided I wanted the cupcakes to look like chrysanthemums. I used mini marshmallows to form each petal for the flower. After all the petals were on I used Wilton's color mist spray in violet to mist the cupcakes. When I finished all the cupcakes, I formed them into the shape of a cross. Cassie and her mom loved the cupcakes!
